Rushworth Architecture Ltd is a family-run business established in 2019, with work primarily being carried out by myself, Owen Rushworth. ​With almost a decade of working in architecture, my experience varies a wide range of services and products.

Starting out working for a small practice, experience was quickly gained working for developers specialising in the conversions of existing buildings through either permitted development rights or planning applications. I also carried out a good deal of work for commercial agents, providing measured floor plans for lease or land registry compliant plans - along with proposal drawings when required. Finally, I also executed plenty of work for domestic clients who were looking for extensions or alterations to their homes, or for advice on homes they were looking to purchase.

 

After some time working for the smaller company I started out with, I decided that a difference in environment would help to further progress my knowledge and skill set. I moved to a larger architectural practice that specialised in new-build dwellings and expansive housing developments. Primarily working with the planning team, I gained a great amount of knowledge and experience of new-build housing developments for large-scale developers, both locally and nationwide. Alongside this, I also worked with various clients for projects such as elderly care homes or extensions to industrial units.

After a couple of years I decided that it was time to start up on my own. With a varying range of skills developed over almost a decade I am well equipped to work on a wide range of projects. My goal is to provide an affordable and streamlined service whilst making sure any design work I provide is cost effective, efficient and meets your brief. I provide a personal service to ensure attention to your needs and requirements.
